Like the first team’s game this match was a game of two halves; with Trebanos playing very well in the first half. There were tries for Mathew Edwards, Chris Balffe who was making his Trebanos Youth debut, and Scott Barrett. Mathew Edwards converted one of the tries. Trebanos controlled much of the first half thanks to an all round effort by the pack and finished the first half comfortably in control.
The second half was closer as Trebanos did not play to the same standard that they had set in the previous thirty-five minutes. Dunvant also came out strongly and they came much more into the game, such was the pressure that the visitors were under that Mr Davies saw fit to issue three of their players with yellow cards at on point. The home team took advantage of their numerical superiority and scored a well-worked try, that was converted. Trebanos hit back with a good try from Daniel Docherty, which came from quick ball that had been won by the forwards.
Both Chris Balffe and Declan Bale who were making their Youth team debuts, did well showing commitment and determination and look as if they will be an asset to the squad.
