Trebanos RFC 2012 Golf Day

Trebanos RFC will hold its annual Golf Day at Pontardawe Golf Club on Friday 27th April 2012. The event will consist of teams of four at a cost of £120.00 per team, and will include coffee on arrival, eighteen holes of golf, a two course meal and prizes. Tee off times will be between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. (an earlier start can be accommodated if necessary).

The rugby club organises its annual golf day in order to maintain and promote its rugby, which plays a prominent part of the community life of the village. Trebanos Rugby Football Club is a small club with a long history of playing and nurturing the game of rugby football in the Swansea Valley. Players such as Robert Jones, Bleddyn Bowen, Arwel Thomas and Andrew Lloyd are all products of our Junior Section who have all represented Wales at senior level. The latest product to emerge from the club's youth system is Ospreys and Wales open side Justin Tipuric.
